Chaya Mushka Schools
Annual Fundraising Campaign
Theme Proposal
Dec 2-3, 2026
“My kid is happy.”
It's a simple statement, but for a parent, it means everything.
In past campaigns, we've focused on explaining who we are, what we do, and why we do it. This year, we're shifting the spotlight to the result.
The joy of being part of Chaya Mushka Schools.
It's in the child who can't wait to tell you what they learned today. The friendships that make school feel like a second home. The pride of finally mastering something difficult. The comfort of being known, loved, and encouraged to be yourself.
These everyday moments are the beautiful outcome of an education rooted in partnership, shaped by community, and deeply invested in every child's growth. They're what make our children excited to come to school each morning. And what give their parents so much nachas.
With our campaign taking place just before Chanukah, the timing feels especially fitting. As we prepare to celebrate the Festival of Lights, we're turning our attention to the lichtigeh punim already lighting up our classrooms. The happy, confident Jewish children who carry that light with them wherever they go.
This year, we're celebrating that joy.
Three possible campaign themes explore it from different angles, each offering a fresh way to tell the story of what makes Chaya Mushka Schools so special.
THEME 1:
Sparks Joy
You know the expression, “Does it spark joy?” At Chaya Mushka Schools, it's the little things that add up to something big. This theme showcases those seemingly small experiences that light up a child's day and, together, spark a lifelong love of learning, Yiddishkeit, and being part of something special.
THEME 2:
K’vell
There's a special kind of joy that you just can't contain. The excitement of finally figuring something out. The pride of accomplishing something all on your own. The confidence that comes from discovering what you're capable of. Kids at CMS are bursting with excitement, beaming with happiness, and finding new reasons to feel proud of themselves every day. This theme celebrates that infectious, overflowing joy—the kind that's written all over their faces and impossible to keep inside.
THEME 3:
Happy Place
Everyone has a happy place. Somewhere they feel at home, where they can be themselves, and where they genuinely love to be. For our students, Chaya Mushka Schools is that place. This theme shows off a community where children feel loved, connected, and confident. Where they look forward to coming each morning, and where the their souls come to shine.
